2025 — 72 consecutive hours Survival kit, medical and psychological monitoring Performers: Camilla Tagliaferri, Claudia Fiorio, Erika Ciccone First presented at: artQ13, Rome. Open rehearsal: 26 June 2025, 7–8 pm, by appointment
Three performers live for seventy-two consecutive hours inside the space, equipped with a survival kit. The situation simulates an extreme emergency. Throughout their stay they are monitored by doctors and psychologists. The source material is military ceremonial: the changing of the guard, alert procedures, codified gestural sequences. These gestures are isolated from their original context, deconstructed and reassembled into new sequences. The martial movements are repeated obsessively, emptied of the function they were designed for. Hands clap, feet march, postures stiffen and come undone. The cycle repeats for three days without interruption. The body accumulates fatigue, the sequences lose precision, the ceremony degrades through repetition.
Entropic regime. Military gestures deconstructed and obsessively repeated for 72 hours. The circuit runs down. Here the string is the ceremony, and it degrades through repetition: hands clap, feet march, postures stiffen and collapse.
