WITHOUT PLAN_TS

2025 — 5-minute sessions Plant with 2 electrodes on its leaves, 6 small vibration motors (worn by the performer), white thermal paper (without grid), roll for real-time tracing Performer: to be defined First presented: to be defined

A plant with two electrodes attached to its leaves stands in the performance space. The plant’s electrical signals are picked up, processed and translated into vibrations distributed across six small motors worn by the performer, placed at different points on the body. The performance takes place in five-minute sessions. The performer responds to the vibrations with movement, without knowing in advance what will happen. A trace of the signals is recorded in real time on a roll of white thermal paper, without a grid. No reference grid, no scale of measurement. The paper scrolls and the trace accumulates. The plant produces electrical signals that vary unpredictably. The performer receives the vibrations and reacts without a plan. There is no score, no fixed sequence. The plant does not guide the performer. The performer does not interpret the plant’s signals.

Retroactive regime. The string is the plant’s electrical signal. It becomes vibration on the body, it becomes movement, but neither end controls the other. The white thermal paper records without a grid: the trace exists, the measure does not.
