2025 Automatic visitor-counting system (Dropper.ai), randomised audio phrases, waiting timer (3–7 sec.) Performers: placed at undeclared points First presented at: to be defined
At the entrance to the space, an automatic visitor-counting system based on Dropper.ai detects every person who enters. At the moment of detection, the system plays an audio phrase chosen at random from a predefined set: “Please wait”, “Go to the right”, “Not now”, “Please do not enter”. Each person detected must observe a mandatory waiting time of between 3 and 7 seconds before being able to proceed. The system displays no numbers, percentages or other data. The audience does not know the criteria by which the instructions are assigned. Inside the space, the performers are placed at precise but undeclared points. Their presence is not announced. The audience does not know who is a performer and who is a spectator. The audio instructions continue to play for the entire duration of the event. The device operates autonomously, with no human intervention in the selection of phrases or the management of timings.
Parallel regime. The AI system operates autonomously, issuing random audio instructions. The performers are present but not announced. The audience does not know who is a performer and who is a spectator. Here the string between human and machine does not intertwine: the machine manages the flow without imitating the human.
